The Programme

The Silver Guinea Pig Ball ran from 6.30pm until 2am.
The timetable for the evening was as follows

• 6.30pm Meet informally in the Main Hall
• 7pm Champagne Reception
• 7.30pm group photograph
• 8pm Dinner in the Ballroom
• 10pm Speech by Professor Joe Collier
• Followed by Disco until 1am. Bar open till 2am.

Memorable Disco tracks

We all had our favourite tracks 25 years ago and a lot of you voted for your favourites, The DJ worked from the voting list abd we managed to get a lot of those tracks played. Unfortunately it was not until very late into the evening when the old rockers got played the dance floor filled. Looks like Brown Sugar and 2-4-6-8 motorway are still top of the charts for us! Next time we should get the place rocking earlier.

Picture Show

The dual projector show of old phots from 1976 - 1983 during the Reception was well received by the audience. If kept some viewing the photos right until the end of the evening.
